April was the perfect month to take a trip  back to my motherland, Taiwan. It was low tourist season so it wasn't so crowded. The weather was in its  low 70s and a lot of my favorite tropical fruits like pineapple, star fruit, guava, dragon fruit, and papaya were all in its peak season! This trip took a bit of planning and I had a list of  things I must do and see while I'm there. One of the items on my list was to learn about the ancient art of  indigo dying . I've heard about the indigo dying center through my mom's friend. This place was a hidden gem tucked away in a small historic town called  Sanxia . It's a charming little town with small streets filled with shops selling nostalgic souvenirs, beautiful handcrafted ceramics and signature treats. Asian Inspired with a Twist

The  Asian Inspired trend  has been going strong for few seasons now and looks like it will continue through Fall!  Designers like Prada, Entro, Emilio Pucci and  Dries Van Noten  have all featured Asian inspired trends down the Fashion runways focusing vibrant mixes of patterns including motifs, embroideries, luxurious silk pieces, as well as asymmetrical details.  These designer pieces are very inspiring so I have created a summer look to wear with the  mini Hermosa  crossbody made from softest leather and repurposed vintage kimonos.  I love incorporating traditional Eastern prints while giving it Western spin!  Also, adding accessories are the easiest way to update any look and give it a splash of color!  Each Mei Vintage handbag design was created  to be timeless so you can wear it for many seasons to come!!   Summer is just around the corner and I can't wait to enjoy all the fashion and fun that summ...
