Spring is one of the best season for capturing the beauty of  our natural surroundings. It was a pleasure working with all of them and so excited to introduce our latest collection with everyone!

This is my first blog post of 2015! How exciting! One of my goals this year is to spend more time blogging and share my creative process with you! I always feel like doing something more with my  pins  to help me with my creative process so here you go! Lately, I've been obsessing over nature inspired prints (both organic and abstract) with minimalist and dreamlike interruptions using textures such as paint brush strokes, motifs, and watercolor patterns just to name a few. 1/  Boro Asa , Textile  2/  Rikka Ayasaki  "Twlight" painting 3/ Ceil Touchon , Asemic Calligraphy 4/ Lee Ufan  "Line" painting 5/ Vintage Kimono, Unknown I've recently added few new kimonos to my personal collection with various abstract patterns and made few samples that will be part of the upcoming 2015 collection.  I'm really happy with the way it turned out so you’re getting a sneak peak here! Stayed tuned, I'll be rolling out fresh designs in the beginning of 2015! ...

I recently returned from Vegas showcasing our Fall/Winter Collection at WWDMAGIC as part of the Emerging Designer Showcase.  I met buyers from some great stores and several will be carrying Mei Vintage handbags soon!  I also had such a great time meeting all of the talented designers.  There were 7 apparel designers and 4 accessory designers.  They all exude so much passion!  It was a really good experience and the highlight of this trip was learning about their inspiration and their personal journey of how they each started their own label. Calgary based fashion label,  Bano eeMee , design these buttery soft sexy leather jackets that immediately caught my attention. The designer, Aleem Arif was also chosen as the top emerging designer form the Emerging Designer Showcase.  He will receive a round trip ticket to Paris and meet and greet with the Galeries Lafayette women's buyer.  Congrats! The best time of the season, holiday spirit is finally back!  Pretty soon, we are leaving one year behind and welcoming a new year, 2013.  There's just something being around family, friends, good food, and reflecting on all the wonderful things that we take for granted in life.  This holiday season, I  am grateful to be able to share my blog with you and continue this journey as a handbag designer!  What are you grateful for?! Summer has officially ended, and the sunny weather in California is starting to cool off!  A sure sign when summer has come to an end is when I start layering clothes and gravitate my shopping purchases toward sweaters and autumn color palettes.  I'm starting to gear up for my fall purchases and I am in love with Heidi Merrick's Fall 2012 collection !  She's a California clothing designer and her Fall line was inspired by a popular 80's surfing picture of Shaun Tomson wearing  a board short and a yellow wetsuit vest.  Her fall collection is very clean, soft with poppy colors! I find her collection to be very wearable and great for layering (perfect for California weather)!  The Jeffery's coat and vegan leather skinny pants are on my wishlist and they go perfectly with our Allie Hobo ! Our Allie combines soft woven leather with 100% hemp underlay and adorned with antique brass studs throughout.  It's the perfect everyday bag that will take you from fall...

Yay! H&M just announced a spring designs collaboration with the Italian brand Marni.  She's famous for its original prints and I LOVE prints! Check out the video here and as Tim Blanks quoted nicely "She aims for the sensuality of the mind".  So excited about this collaboration, and I think it's defiantly worth the wait.... in long lines!  Now I just have to find a girlfriend to wait with me ;)

Exploring and getting lost in Europe during Spring time was simply amazing!  You can see lush green pastures, tulips, magnolias and various flowers blossoming along the highways and roadsides.  On the way to Mont St. Michele in Normandy .   During high tide, Mont St. Michele appears as though it's floating on water. It's a majestic church surrounded by magnificent bay. The architecture and the panoramic views were breathtaking! I took my Braidy hobo on this trip with me. Next to Mont Saint Michele is the cutest beach town I have ever visited called St. Malo.  This town was filled with tourists and locals digging for mussels during low tide season.      The "massive swimming pool" in St. Malo.  It's incredible to witness the rising tide s.
