Spring is one of the best season for capturing the beauty of  our natural surroundings. It was a pleasure working with all of them and so excited to introduce our latest collection with everyone!

This is my first blog post of 2015! How exciting! One of my goals this year is to spend more time blogging and share my creative process with you! I always feel like doing something more with my  pins  to help me with my creative process so here you go! Lately, I've been obsessing over nature inspired prints (both organic and abstract) with minimalist and dreamlike interruptions using textures such as paint brush strokes, motifs, and watercolor patterns just to name a few. 1/  Boro Asa , Textile  2/  Rikka Ayasaki  "Twlight" painting 3/ Ceil Touchon , Asemic Calligraphy 4/ Lee Ufan  "Line" painting 5/ Vintage Kimono, Unknown I've recently added few new kimonos to my personal collection with various abstract patterns and made few samples that will be part of the upcoming 2015 collection.  I'm really happy with the way it turned out so you’re getting a sneak peak here! It's time to shake off that winter blues and gear up for spring! Daylight saving time has arrived and that means I get to enjoy an extra hour of daylight! There's always so much to do in a day.  Now with one extra hour of daylight I can unwind and relax at the beach.  February has been a busy month for Mei Vintage.  I recently came back from WWDMAGIC Tradeshow in Vegas as part of the emerging designers showcase.  We were there to introduce our new collection to buyers that came from all over the world.  In fact, my booth neighbor Christie of Ndau Collection came all the way from Zimbabwe, Africa! Their jewelry collection is inspired by African culture using rare antique African trade beads, precious and semi-precious stones, exotic leathers and treasures they find in their travels.  It was a blast meeting and sharing stories with all my new designer friends!    You can read about WWDMAGIC emerging platform here , which include a review about Mei...
